Owned and operated by Marissa Flynn, Ice Cream Joy opened in Lakewood in June 2015 just in time to satisfy all those summer ice cream cravings with artisan small-batch ice creams. Stop in for such exotic flavors as blueberry with brie, roasted black sesame and seaweed, and honey roasted peanut butter cookie dough, all made with local milk and cream and the freshest ingredients. Or try one of their vegan flavors such as dark chocolate whiskey pretzel. Flavors rotate so come in and be surprised. Sorbets are on the menu for those wanting something lighter and sundaes are available for those wanting something heavier.
We added Hot Caramel Apple Cider (above) for a seasonal treat. $2.50 for a small and $3 for a large.
