The 2011 Cleveland Design Competition is on. This year, the focus is A New School Vision. Professionals, students, firms and designers from all over the world are invited to submit designs for a new K-12 public school in downtown Cle.
Re-imagine the school and explore how educational facilities must evolve from small schoolhouses and institutionalized buildings to something completely radical and new. The competition jury is scheduled to be announced on Fri 5/27.
The Cleveland Design Competition is “an open, anonymous, single-stage, ideas competition founded as a tool for generating architectural ideas around under-utilized sites and showcasing the talent of designers on Cleveland’s built and unbuilt environment.”
