Noted French Organist Vincent Warnier Plays Oberlin’s Finney Chapel

Wed 4/25 @ 8PM

Vincent Warnier is known internationally as a master of the pipe organ. In his nearly three-decade career he has served a organist at several cathedrals in his native France, while maintaining a busy touring and teaching schedule. He’s also made nearly two dozen recordings.

Warnier will be performing in concert at Oberlin’s Finney Chapel where he’ll play music by Charles-Marie Widor, Louis Vierne. Alexander-Pierre-François Boël, Olivier Messiaen and Maurice Duruflé, as well as some of his own improvisations, something else he’s become noted for.

The concert is free.
